Como psicoterapeuta e psicóloga que recentemente veio para Portugal como refugiada, quero organizar apoio psicológico e de adaptação online e offline para adultos e crianças que estão se adaptando a uma nova vida e lidando com estresse significativo.
Hi there! My name is Tatyana, I am a psychotherapist, psychologist and teacher. I am also a mother, a woman and a human being. About a week ago I had to run away to Portugal from Kyiv, Ukraine with my children because my city is being bombed and my country is at war.
I left with my two youngest children. My eldest son, husband and mother remained in Ukraine. I had to leave to save their lives and give the younger children a chance for a future. This is simply my motherly duty.
As a citizen of Ukraine, I would love to continue to do what I do the best which is helping people as a psychologist . Even being far from hostile events in Ukraine, I can help my nation, my country to overcome the challenges that they have faced recently. I would like to stay here in Portugal with my children until the war in Ukraine ends, get to know Portugal better and become a person that can connect our nations together fighting for the common good.
How can I help?
War, loss of security, loss of home, separation from relatives are extremely stressful life events. Moving to another country, language barriers, cultural differences, adaptation process, learning new professions or accepting hard physical work, despite professional experience and achievements in one's own country lead to significant stress. Therefore, high-quality psychological support for Ukrainians in Portugal today is necessary to go through these events in a less damaging way.
I will organize online and offline psychological and adaptation support for people who were forced to leave their country here in Portugal
I am extremely grateful to all the people I met so far who empathize with Ukraine and its people. After driving more than 4000 km with my kids, we were met with so much sympathy, participation, support and help. In our first days in Portugal, I was pleased with the hospitality of the Portuguese people. I want to say to you all “thank you”.
