I am Rodrigo ROSA SILVEIRA, born in Brazil. I grew up in São Paulo, and in Vila nova de Santo-André in Alentejo (Portugal).

Suma Alma Permacultura Amazonia, is your opportunity to discover and help the Tarauacã Indians, in the Acre region, in Brazil, near Peru & Bolivia (see map here)

3 years ago, I had the opportunity to buy land in the Amazonia, to make my dream come true. My vision and objective is inspired by the philosophy of permaculture.

Cultivate , learn , interact , create , ... interactive agriculture, tree houses , tourist stays, artistic residences , and many ways to be closer to the heart of the Amazon .

"Eat fruit from the bunch and bathe in the stream", is Suma Alma's first motto!

Today, I invested a lot of my person, I had to sell everything I had in Portugal, I moved in September to Taraucã, paid professional webmaster to build a website that presents the project: https://melidesconnection.wixsite.com/sumaalma

PHASE 1: Finishing of house n°1 (!) And small land only 50 meters around, including: lettuce, local potatoes (macacheira), fruit trees, chicken coop, ducks and pigs. The purchase of tools and the opening to the public!

PHASE 2: growth of the land with permaculture technique, house n°2 for visitors.

I worked for many years as a welder in Switzerland in particular, which allows me to have a little money to buy this land in the Amazon and try to fulfill my dream of collective alternative life with the spirit of permaculture.

I am currently living between my land and the nearest village, here in Amazonia. I am sure that there are a lot of people and friends from Portugal who wanted to have an authentic experience with me here and with Indian friends. An immersion in profound and prolific nature, and also at the center of shamanic culture.

Also to study, or simply to be active in solidarity with Suma Alma!

Budget and due dates

PHASE 1: Finishing of house n°1 (!) And small land only 50 meters around including: lettuce, local potatoes (macacheira), fruit trees, chicken coop, ducks and pigs.

It is necessary to rent a boat to go down and up the river from the land once a month. As well as tools and wooden boards, nets, for chicken coop and to protect ducks.

Everything else is my workmanship! My work.
