Solstice is an academic short film about loss, love and memory, that keeps alive even those who are no longer here
Synopsis
“On the day of his grandfather's funeral, Miguel, a 5-year-old boy, plays happily and talks with him. Submerged in his own world and memories he distances himself from the reality of his surronding, devastated by loss and preparing for goodbye ”
Solstício is an academic short film that we are developing as a final course project. It is a story about loss, where few are the moments where we focus on the sadness of the characters. It is rather a celebration of love and memory , which keeps alive even those who are no longer here. We speak of a theme that is as current today as in any other time or day, of love and loss, a universal feeling that will stay with us throughout our lives in different ways, making us change and grow, passing the seasons and chapters of the years we live.
Our university leaves the team in charge of raising funds for the production of the project. We chose this platform to present you this film, which we believe is the best way to close this chapter of our lives, ending this course with what we hope is the best project we have developed so far and we count on your help to make this idea a reality.
