Renovation and improving the Antoine Velge pavilion. The most urgent areas are the dressing rooms. For those we need more “missionaries” so that our young athletes may have the minimal conditions for their development because MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO implies good hygiene habits and the proper spaces develop those habits.
Describing this project is describing the essence of Vitória Futebol Clube´s handball. The 58 years of history makes it almost an impossible task, due to so many achievements and record deserving events.
Thousands of athletes make this history, representing several generations of Vitória´s handball. These athletes played in extraordinary games in an Antoine Velge´s Pavilion filled to the top, providing many joyful moments to the thousands fans that visited the justly called Setúbal Handball´s Cathedral.
Today this cathedral suffers from several structural problems, starting from the floor and lightning but manly in the athlete’s dressing rooms which are still home for more than 140 athletes from,
What has already been done:
In the scope of last month of June “ Setúbal mais bonita” campaign, and thanks to the commitment of many anonymous volunteers, the pavilion underwent a series of improvements with several areas being painted ( Photo) and today we can look at this facility with a renewed joy since that abandoned look as disappeared.
Our goals…with your help:
Renewing the Pavilion demands a more in depth intervention, manly when it comes to the athlete’s dressing rooms. These are used by hundreds of athletes from all ages.
The level of degradation of these dressing rooms is not compatible with the goals we are trying to achieve. And it doesn´t dignify Vitória Futebol Clube and its handball.
We know that the handball fans, the Vitória fans and the Setúbal´s population have always cherished this club and this sport will answer by helping and collaborating with this project.
To support this project is to contribute so that Setúbal´s youth may have a more suitable space to continue to grow as athletes and man.
Help with your donation.
Thank you!
