Visit to Brownsea Island and attractive spaces of Scouting

The Tribe, from Grouping 30 - S. Paio de Merelim, Braga, has as main objective the visit to Brownsea Island, being considered the cradle of Scouting, besides visiting the house of Banden Powell, Gilwell Park and historical museums. from London.

This great adventure has as interveners 3 scouts of the Tribe and the Chief of the Tribe, who is also head of the Grouping. It will happen on July 20, 21 and 22, 2018.
It is a dream for some time now, but only this year is it possible for us to realize it ... We have already done some international activities such as the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela and participation in the canonization of John Paul II and John XXI, has a totally different aspect, since we will totally independent of any grouping as well as will be a much bigger trip in terms of logistics, culture, and challenges :)

The total amount we need is € 1050, to cover the costs of the stay (South London Scout Center), travel to London and transport there, as well as food expenses and visits of interest.

The objective of this campaign is to win the value we lack, € 500, to achieve our great goal.

About the author

The promoter of this event is the Chef de Agrupamento, being also the Section Chef of the tribe of the São Paio de Merelim Group, of the CNE.

This adventure is the most challenging of events already experienced in the Grouping / Tribe.

Until July 15, 2018, we need 500 € (what we lack in value) to achieve our great goal.

This budget includes accommodation expenses (South London Scout Center), trips to London and transport there, as well as food expenses and visits of interest such as the House of Baden Powell, Gilwell Park and the historical museums of London.
