"Somos Coimbra" campaign is an independent campaign, since it presents a Coimbra without partisan support.
Crowdfunding is a tool for fundraising in an effective and transparent way. The "Somos Coimbra" campaign is an independent campaign, since it presents a Coimbra without partisan support. Therefore, it does not have the financial power of party campaigns or entities receiving funding.
The problems of Coimbra are, today, multiple and serious. These problems are known by those who live here and those who have left because they lack opportunities, jobs and the future.
Coimbra is regressing. Between 2009 and 2015, the Municipality of Coimbra lost 7% of its population! Coimbra has to change and we have solutions.
José Manuel Silva, ex-chairman of the Doctor’s Order, is the choice for change that Coimbra needs. A man of immaculate integrity, with a vision of the future and with great knowledge in the most diverse areas. Praised for the way he relates to the people around him and recognized for his struggle in continued improvements in the NHS (National Health Service).
We hope to count on the collaboration of all the people who share our ideas, so that we can continue in this arduous journey, to make Coimbra a more prosperous municipality, with new ideas and new actions.
Our fight is for Coimbra. Our party is Coimbra. We want to bring everyone together. Without party, social, cultural, age, religious, geographic or gender discrimination, we are an inclusive candidacy, which is listening to the people and institutions of the county.
This crowdfunding campaign is aimed at advertising funding of the "Somos Coimbra" campaign, in addition to the costs of symbolic rewards and the fee charged by the PPL platform.
After the campaign is finalized and as the resources raised are used, there will be accountability on our site.
All financial contributions received by this project will be deposited in a bank account exclusively created for this purpose and in which only deposits that have this origin will be made.
The implementation of this crowdfunding campaign complies with the provisions of the Law on Financing of Parties (Law no. 19/2003, of 20 June). According to this law the supports are subject to certain conditions such as:
- Donations can’t be made by collective persons (companies, associations, foundations, etc.);
- Donations must be made through means that can identify their origin, namely by bank transfer.
We, from "Somos Coimbra", are completely open to new ideas and suggestions from the Conimbricans, who thank you in advance. Do it through our website and the email or by Facebook.
The "Somos Coimbra", all its team and the mayoral candidate, José Manuel Silva, thank their contribution, being it financial, intellectual or in any other way.
Without your help, the dream of giving Coimbra a better future will be much more difficult.
