The APEFP promotes every year the edition of a National Ethics and Philosophy Prize which publishes a book (150 copies) with the trials of the winning students and allocates two monetary awards. The book also includes essays of the most prominent philosophers Portuguese and International Practical.
The National Essay Prize in Ethics and Practical Philosophy is an initiative of APEFP- Portuguese Association of Ethics and Practical Philosophy.
The Prize is intended to students in the 10th, 11th and 12th years of Secondary Education of Scientific Courses - Humanistic public and private schools in Portugal.
The Prize aims to elect, under a merit criterion, the best essay submitted by schools competed on an ethical and / or practical philosophical problem, that is, referring to issues that affect the whole civil society.
The winning student will receive a prize of 200 euros, a certificate and will still have their essay published in book editing in 2016 by APEFP on the theme of Ethics and Practical Philosophy.
The test with Honors will have a premium of 100 euros, a certificate and will also be published in book editing by APEFP in 2016.
The ceremony (s) of Prize (s) will be held in the city of Braga, the city where is located the headquarters of the National APEFP later in the month of June 2016 in the auditorium indicate.
