The OPSSS! is a Portuguese brand of jewelry and contemporany fashion accessories, founded in Madeira in 2014 by Fátima Abreu, an young architect. The secret is to combine quality and exclusivity, innovation and craftsmanship o each piece, always with an touch of glamor. Within a year of its launch, we want to expand the business in a structured way, whilst preserving the quality and exclusivity to build a successful brand. Designed by an architect, Fátima Abreu, this project was born from her desire to create, through drawing, jewelry and contemporary fashion accessories,of  high quality and distinction.

Each piece is unique and exclusive, the result of a meticulous selection of fine materials, combining innovation and craftsmanship, looking always to honor the quality standards.

The fusion of contemporary design with the craftsmanship is visible in every detail. Regardless of the style, all the details are thought to provide every piece, maximum functionality, comfort and design.

The secret is to combine quality and exclusivity, creating desirable pieces in limited numbers, with an incomparable touch of femininity and glamor.

To spread the brand, OPSSS! began working in partnership with some existing dealers and created a Facebook page to raise awareness of the project and share with followers their new creations.

Within a year of its launch, the public feedback rose our expectations, reason that motivates us to expand the business in a structured way, whilst preserving the quality and exclusivity to build a successful brand.

About the author

I am a young architect, 27, formed 4 years at Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto.

The lack of job prospects in the area brought me back to my roots and, hence, produced in me the desire to create my own business where I could "architect" my ideas and put them into practice.

Thus was born the OPSSS!, a brand of fashion accessories designed and produced by me. The creation of the brand was, in essence, an evolutionary process from idea to implementation.

Until then, the project has advanced with my financial effort and, above all, with my desire to move on and win. However, the PPL has come to show to new entrepreneurs with the contribution of all you can make it happen and that there aren’t unattainable dreams.
