Mo'dern Gospel Choir it's a contemporary musical project, created in early 2014, with major influences from Rock, R&B and Pop. With Gospel music as its main musical style, it offers its public a wider vision on the concept itself.
 
With voices born in Gospel, Opera, Rock and Musical Theatre, Mo'dern Gospel Choir is modern, progressive, bold, printing a sense of youth and novelty. Constituted by professional singers, Mo'dern Gospel Choir aims to inovate in the Gospel world, daring to go further in the repertoire choice, in its form and interpretation style and in its posture and motion on stage. Combines the reverence towards Gospel music with the youth and joy of a Glee group.
 
To pursue all these goals, Mo'dern Gospel Choir needs support to acquire equipment and costumes for the shows, as wireless microphones with headsets, quite specific and indispensable for its style of performance.

About the author

Mo'dern Gospel Choir can count on its production team with the invaluable help of Sofia de Castro, Diogo Oliveira, Marta Taborda and Pedro A. Rodrigues. Its artistic and musical direction lies in the capable hands of Hugo Baptista, while the direction and choreography are the responsibility of the creative Pessoa Junior.

The voices, whose fusion composes the sound of Mo'dern Gospel Choir are: Adriano Diouf, Andreia Valles, Bruno Ribeiro, Carina Leitão, Catarina Vargas, Daniela Onis, Hugo Baptista, Marco Mendonça, Mirian Raimundo, Sofia de Castro, Sonia Soprano, Soraia Tavares and Pedro A. Rodrigues.

We have several concerts scheduled, being the first on the 26th July, many in September and even a year from now! We aim to acquire the needed equipment, mainly the microphones, quite specific and expensive.
