The aim of this project is to improve o "Lugar do Monte".
We are a young couple, Tiago and Mariana, we are 26. We lived in the city but we decided to change our way of life. We moved to Alentejo, Cuba, where I have some family land, bought some goats and so we started working.
We have 12 hectares of pasturage most of all. Although the area we want to rebuilt is half a hectare. There is a small vegetable farming, corrals and warehouses. In the vegetable farming grows pumpkin, watermelon, etc.
Like everybody, we have some dreams, and one of them is to rebuilt this space. Solar energy, recycling water, green roofs in all buildings and an ecological pool, are our long-term goals.
But for now, we want to focus on this space, where we hope we can meet with our friends and everybody else who wants to visit us. You can rent this space! If you do, you will be able to enjoy not only the house but also all the farm activities we can offer you: milk and cheese-making workshops, picnics and some other fun activities.
If for any reason you cannot afford this, you can still enjoy it , for free, in exchange for farm work
