Six years ago, a transatlantic bridge stood before me. Portugal, Brazil and Cape-Green. Going through it countless times, harvested fundamental references for my music, my compositions and my story. Caminhar(2012) and Coladera (2013), my two previous albums, celebrate these meetings and toast the Lusophone.
Each time I make my way back, I realize how "Alfacinha" my music is. I see a Portuguese Lisbon, Moorish, Brazilian, African, Flamenco ... From the world !. As I! Lisboando just born this feeling and the need to compose around him and with these sounds that attract me a lot.
The meeting with the Portuguese accurate lyricists, Ana Sofia Paiva, Amelia Muge and the Brazilian lyricist Vinicius Carvalho was the starting point for designing most of these new songs, joining after the huge Diogo Duque (trumpet), Francesco Valente (low ), Felipe José (cello), Marco Pombinho (piano), Poliana Tuchia (percussions) and Sebastian Sheriff (drums), and brought it to drive a very unique and very interesting sound, equally important noteworthy appearances by Aline Frazão (Angola), Dino Santiago (Cape Verde) and other surprises that are yet to come ... throughout the month of November 2014 we did a residency at B.leza Club in Lisbon, during which once a week, we had the opportunity to experience and polish the new songs. That same month, we recorded half of the album in the studio Pimenta Preta, with Gonçalo Pimenta and Ivo Costa.
Over the years I have been developing my career completely independently, but in this new phase would like to count on your cooperation. Therefore I challenge these two calls:
