The Nerd League is a project that was created thinking of Pop (Nerd) culture. This project, to incorporate into this culture in our country and therefore, the site of the League Nerd was created so that through him, the Portuguese stay abreast of the latest news from pop culture (Nerd). This is our dream, and we want to become a reality, working every day to make this possible.

The Nerd League is a project that was created thinking of Pop (Nerd) culture. In several countries, this culture has been widely explored and recognized, thanks to the various themes that possess, such as: Movies, TV, Music, Games, Technology, among others. This project, to incorporate into this culture in our country, and therefore, the site of the League Nerd was created so that through him, the Portuguese stay abreast of the latest news from pop culture (Nerd).

Now that we have a website we need support for our project to expand and thereby improve our content. We took this project seriously, and we intend to continue until it becomes sustainable, enough to not have to rely on others to keep it running. This project is our dream, and we want to become a reality, working every day to make this possible.

 

About the author

Sérgio Veloso (Dexter): Born in Portugal in Braga. Just finished the professional course of Multimedia Technician. Now working as freelancer graphic design and owns a project, which is called the League Nerd. Loves to read a good book, go to the movies, writing and hanging out with friends. Ever dreamed of becoming a writer, but as he could not achieve this objective, due to lack of opportunity, decided to create a project where you can use your dream as a hobie.

Budget and due dates

Our main expenses, ranging from the studio to own the equipment. Our idea is to rent a small studio, where we do our work, which will cost between 50 to 100 Eur per month. After the studio is operational, we are left with the equipment (lighting, sound and video), and a computer with a good graphics card, so we can make the rendering of videos in perfect condition and sturdy enough to handle our editing programs, which will have a total cost between 1500 and 2000 Eur. All this said here, it will take around two to three months. We have in the ready and well equipped studio within two months. Otherwise the computer may take about a month, depending on the model.
