A mini web serie for a final degree project that is about leukemia and Hodgkin lymphoma, to help people to understand better what these diseases are.

This project is divided in two parts, one of them is a mini web serie that will be shooted in Lisbon for 17 days.

The web serie will have several episodes of 5 minutes and it will tell the story of 2 people:

- Pedro, who just graduated college, he has a good life until he finds out that he has an Hodgkin lymphona. He starts to do chemotherapy but with the side effects he loses the will to fight the disease.

- Margarida, a young girl, with leukemia but with a huge strength to live. She meets Pedro during a chemo session and as the story goes on they build a friendship while she helps him to fight the disease.

The web serie will have some 3D animations to explain some of the processes that the pacients go through during the treatments.

The other part of the project is our website, which is already online, where we have some information about the project and also a blog to keep you updated about our project. In the website we'll also have some infographics to explain in a simple way what this diseases are.

About the author

We are Rafael Pires and Raquel Silva, we're both 21 years old, finalists of the Communication Design and Audiovisual Production degree from the Escola Superior de Artes Aplicadas in Castelo Branco, Portugal.

When we started to think what we would do to the final project class we had in mind that we wanted to do something to help people, make something usefull to the society and something that would make us feel good about ourselves

Leukemia had a huge impact in our lives, we had friends and family that suffered from it. While we were researching for the project we found out that there was a lack of knowledge about this disease, so we decided that we wanted to fix it.
