Junkyard Hounds - is born out of love for art and the difficulties we've encountered as artists. We believe in the hidden talent scattered trough Portugal without the means to show off their work and creativity. With Junkyard Hounds our objective is to finance our own productions while also helping artists of every branch to produce and share their work through partnerships and reduced prices.

In the past I was a finalist in the MotelX 'Micro-Short' category in 2015 and 2016 and at this time, I joined some friends to form Junkyard Hounds with the help of StartUp Torres Novas. We are working on a comedy sketches program titled 'República Tv', video clips, a playful and gratuitous videogame and several short films.
Short film for debut entitled 'Saudades do futuro'.
The objective is to obtain artistic and financial freedom that allows us to focus on the production of original content in the field of cinema, TV and video games. For this we are developing our own online platform that allows anyone to become a member of Junkyard Hounds.
As a member you are entitled to the title of Producer and you will have the name in the credits of ALL our projects and your face in the main page of our website where you can follow the development and participate in all our productions.
Producers have access to discounts in the online store and events organized by us.
Our dream is to establish a bridge between us, the viewer and any artist in a creative area. All great ideas started with daring investors enough to support them. Through the monthly symbolic subscription of 5 euros, you help making our dream come true while also contributing to cultural enrichment.
In addition to producing content and having previously worked with artists such as Violant, we want to use our online platform and events for artists from all areas to disseminate their work. We want to help those who otherwise have no access to promotion.
We are establishing partnerships that allow an artist to sell his works, record video clips, schedule concerts, exhibit paintings and even get paid to give workshops, the possibilities are numerous and we organize everything!
In the future we want to organize events such as cinema shows and even some large-scale shows. Our idea is to bring Lebowski Fest, held in Lisbon last year as well as in several cities of the world, to Torres Novas.
This event, besides celebrating the 20 years of the film in which it is inspired, will bring together different art forms (Literature, Painting, Cinema, Sculpture, Music ...) betting on a strong musical aspect. There is also the strong possibility of North American guitarist Bumblefoot performing at the event.
In order for all this to happen, we need YOUR support, even if our team makes the gut heart to spend as little as possible, all the material, physical space, online platform and the film productions incur costs.
