Support the participation of the young crew in the Sailing Junior European Championship of 420, which will take place from 06 to 13 August on Lake Garda in Italy.
... why support sailing?
Sailing should be considered a basic skill, such as swimming or cycling. It develops the taste for the environment, physical strength, self-confidence and also the ability to make fast decisions because they are often alone in a boat. The basic principles of sailing can be learned in a single afternoon for the pleasure of sailing, or can be perfected at the highest level through Olympic training. And, very importantly, sailing is a lifelong sport, truly from the youngest ages to the eldest.
Context and determination exist, the support is lacking. The logistics of participating in international championships with boat, crew and coach transportation, as well as accommodation and food entails very high costs.
What is wanted with this campaign is a small contribution so that these young sailors can represent Portugal, and at the same time evolve as athletes.
In the emblematic Lake Garda, they will have the opportunity to grow and improve their technique in a healthy dispute between several sailors from various points of Europe.
These kids have evolved a lot as athletes, with a strong determination and willingness to go further. Give your contribution so they can fly even higher!
