We are the Inv1ctus, the current nationalchampions of the F1 project in schools. We are classified to represent Portugal in the championship of the world that will elapse in Austin, Texas
F1 in Schools the only global multi-disciplinary challenge in which teams of students aged 9 to 19 deploy CAD/CAM software to collaborate, design, analyze, manufacture, test, and then race miniature compressed air powered balsa wood F1 cars.
The challenge inspires students to use IT to learn about physics, aerodynamics, design, manufacture, branding, graphics, sponsorship, marketing, leadership/teamwork, media skills and financial strategy, and apply them in a practical, imaginative, competitive and exciting way.
We are involved in this project since 3º cycle, motivated for the school project and the ministry of the education, that in would all assure the way to them in case of success until the end; however, suddenly the financing was removed and leaves we with ours huge project with death announced to a step of the beach, to a step of the top, that for merit in was granted passport to them. We and millions fans of the modality will be for the eternal bitter taste of mouth if not to obtain to prove our value of better between the best. The national level nothing stayed to prove, however the dream does not finish here and we want to prove that Portugal can be the best in any side and any modality. The world-wide end will have place between 14 and 21 of October; that for signal it will go to elapse in the same time of the grand prix of Formula 1 (circuit of Americas), thus being able the entire world to enjoy and to observe the best of the best in both the sources of engineering.

Rui – Graphic Designer - the main function of Rui is to co-ordinate and to cooperate with all the members in order to facilitate and to organize the work methods. All design of the team stays its position.
Alexandre – Manufacturing director- Alexandre is the responsible for all the process, not only of the car, but also of stand and the acquisition of all the type of materials that the team needs.
Pedro - Mechanical Engineer - As mechanical engineer Pedro is in constant contacts with Alexander. The construction, aerodynamics and renderizacion of the car take many hours to it of sleep.
Paulo – Marketing Manager - the main function of Paulo is to enter in contacts with the companies. His capacity and persistence are the main reason to be it to assume this position.
Motivated since the first day for this project, come across we with gigantic barriers, that always we were obtaining to knock down until reaching this level of excellency; now that we obtained it we have the certainty that no type of barrier in will hinder them to accede to the top that by proper merit in was granted them, not even this unexpected one to remove of financing. We have the certainty that let us anger to obtain, therefore we believe that the seriousness in the work will have its moment of justice.

PPL Commission (5%) on the value of the project + IVA (23%) = 198.4€
With the aid of entities, as the City council of Vila Nova de Famalicão and companies who had felt the appeal of this injustice, part of the sum already is guaranteed; however, it is not still enough to cover all the expenses mentioned above. With the sum which solicited in this campaign online, we only intend that it covers the fees of participation (they include application, meals and transports in the U.S.A) We will have that to obtain this remaining amount of money until day 7 of September, in case that it does not happen, all the project will fall for land and obviously all the financings will be restituted.
