We are Mundopardo, a band from Faro - Portugal, and we are about to complete our first album. Our compositions are a mixture of pop with traditional Portuguese music, influenced by famous Portuguese songwriters such as Sérgio Godinho, Fausto and also some Brazilian musicians, including Chico Buarque and Milton Nascimento. Our lyrics depict quotidian situations, the bizarre world of routine, affections and disaffections.

Formed in late 2012, we are a band composed by students and former students from the University of Algarve. We spent 2013 giving concerts, in places such as the 10th MED Festival and the Hard Rock Café in Lisbon. 

Right now we are finishing our debut album, and we need your help to make it possible! We need to raise 1000€ to replicate our CD in digipack format, in a very nice package, the ideal object to hear in your stereo.

About the author

Since 2009 Ricardo Silva spends his free time writing stories shaped in songs. He never tried a solo career more seriously, so in 2012 he invited 3 musicians friends to form a new and original musical project. With this quartet reunited new lyrics and arrangements were created.

The Mundopardo members are:

  • Fábio Silva - percussion, voice
  • João Cardoso - lead guitar, mandolin
  • Pedro Rodigues - counter-bass
  • Ricardo Silva - rhythm guitar, voice

Budget and due dates

Vamos precisar essencialmente de fundos para replicação de cerca de 1000 CDs e digipacks. Assim que estas cópias estiverem prontas começarão a ser vendidas nos nossos concertos, distribuídas para as rádios para divulgação. Se considerarmos que cada CD custa entre 0,80€ e 1€, achamos que este seja o valor necessário para a replicação do álbum. Contamos ter todo o financiamento até final de Março.
