Célia needs our help to purchase a professional sewing machine to widen her product range.

Sewing has been Celia’s passion for a long time. However, due to a lack of opportunities and difficult past, she was unable to develop her own business. That is why we are here asking for your collaboration in order to make it happen.

Célia needs a professional sewing machine to create her business. This machine will help her to extend her range of products and services, expand her client base and achieve the independency she is looking for.

About the author

Célia is a 50 years old entrepreneur with 2 children. She has 20 years of experience and she was awarded a UE scholarship due to a high performance in a sewing course.

BET - Bring Entrepeneurs Together, CATÓLICA-LISBON Entrepreneurship Club is supporting this project. The social entrepreneurship team looks for motivated and committed entrepreneurs willing to start a business and helps them to make it happen. Célia is being supported by 3 master students: João Castro, Teresa Coelho and Olivia Falanga.

We hope this project can be an example for other entrepreneurs like Célia.
