About the author

In 2019, two Portuguese doctors residing in Lisbon, united in their desire to move out of their comfort and jump to the disadvantaged to fight for a more preventive attitude in terms of their health, joined and formed the project “ Lisbon to Praia ”. As the name implies, the first city chosen was Praia City, on Santiago Island in Cape Verde. There is still much to be done here for education and primary disease prevention, and “Lisboa para Praia” wants to actively participate in this change. In collaboration with local Health Centers, with support from the pharmaceutical industry, transportation companies and through this Crowdfunding platform, we strive to raise the value needed to carry out all the planned activities. We thank you in advance for all the support provided. We will acknowledge your contribution to this project with the assurance of a thank you in the final report, and will be actively reporting through the social networks (Instagram and Facebook) the work we have done together.
