Plano Geral - Short Film

Plano Geral is a short fiction film in the drama genre. As it is a university project, we do not have any funding and any amount is welcome!

Audiovisual productions take a lot of time and money. This project, which shows how important our presence in the world is, would be strengthened with your support.

Synopsis
Flora lives a monotonous life until she discovers her passion for cinema. When she meets a boy, the doors to the seventh art open and the world gains a new perspective. It is on this journey that the main character begins to develop a critical and political sense, becoming aware of the reality that surrounds her.

Concept
We will use not only audiovisual language, but also multimedia to try to convey the main character's feelings as best as possible. Experimenting, in a way, with something new and challenging.

About the author

Behind the production of this short film are five final year students of the Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences with a specialization in Audiovisual and Multimedia at the University of Minho. Our team is coordinated by professors Pedro Portela and Alberto Sá, and each one plays an important role in the production, post-production and dissemination.

Just like the main character who brings our short film to life, we are young people driven by cinema and committed to using this art as a powerful tool to raise awareness and inspire.

Budget and due dates

Filming: Between   mid-April to early May.
Post-Production: From mid-May.

This is an academic work, and the production team guarantees that none of the money will be used for their own purposes, and that the financial support will be used exclusively for the creation of the film. Therefore, the money raised would be used to cover the travel expenses of the production team and actors, food, music, the PPL commission and any unforeseen expenses.
