Giving Giveaway Pickles

Giving Giveaway Pickles: until March 29th we will giveaway 2 Pickles of your choice. To participate, just follow the rules in the Giveaway post on the @picklescaps Instagram page.

We are Pickles, a Portuguese brand of caps and hats. We are promoting, on our Instagram page, a Solidarity Giveaway to raise donations to help Ukraine. Until March 29th we will draw 2 Pickles of your choice and to participate just follow the rules present in the Giveaway post on the Instagram page @picklescaps.

For participation to be considered, a minimum contribution of €1 is required. The total amount raised by participating in the Giveaway will be donated to @workingwithsatya who are working to get the necessary goods and care to Ukraine. You can follow Satya's entire mission through its social networks.

Working with Satya @Workingwithsatya

A company that promotes awareness and has been working in Ukraine for 15 years. Ukrainians, for us, are family.

When this conflict started, we received requests for help from friends, then from family members, from friends of family members, from strangers... and since that day my phone has never stopped ringing.
These people have lost their homes, their families, their jobs and many of them do not know whether to see their children or husbands again. Men who were called to fight and defend their country. People who look to all a life's work to be stolen by a raw war! All they have left is a chance for a new life!
People who don't know how to get to the border, people who managed to get out but left dreams and memories behind, others who decided to fight and need medicine in the war zone... There are no rich people, there are no poor people. There are these requests that have been breaking our hearts daily!

What have we already achieved?
We activated all our contacts in Portugal and together we managed to:
- [x] A humanitarian caravan that is transporting people from the borders to Portugal
- [x] Collect tons of material donations;
- [x] Send donations to our direct contacts in Ukraine and ensure they reach their destination.
- [x] Collect medicine to send to the war zone
- [x] Partnership with other associations and institutions to work in cooperation
- [x] Send donations to 80 orphanages within Ukraine
- [x] We have already raised more than 1000 beds and built a digital platform to support the reception process.

Why do we need help?
What started as a one-time distress call has turned into a cold war of requests for help crossing the border! We are already bringing in hundreds of refugees but the number is growing at an exasperating rate every day.
We have felt that one of the biggest problems of humanitarian aid is the difficulty in making monetary donations so that we can really redirect all our expenses. That's why we've worked so far to raise donations and contact partnerships! However, demand overshadows supply and we quickly realized that even with so many donations it is impossible to help these families without having the funds to properly welcome them in Portugal.

At Working with Satya, we always guarantee transparency in all our spending. We created the non-profit association "Helping with Satya", to ensure the careful management of all expenses, which for us is essential:

Pickles is a Portuguese brand created by two brothers in 2020 that intends to use its platform and reach to contribute positively to society. At this moment, as a brand, we feel the need to help Ukraine in the difficult time it is going through and we want, in the way we can, to help all those who are victims of this war.

Satya

Satya is the founder of Working With Satya and dedicates her life to human consciousness and development. He built his own method, which combines modern therapeutic techniques with ancestral wisdom and facilitates different retreats around the world. She is also the founder and director of the Awareness Facilitator School.

Satya sees all her work as a way of serving the human being and Consciousness. Truth, integrity and respect for life are the principles that guide its existence and actions.

Ukraine is one of the main countries where Satya has been working over the last 15 years. The country has become home and the clients and friends, a true family. His way of being in life did not allow him to remain indifferent to the numerous calls for help that emerged after the beginning of the conflict. The willingness to help quickly became a commitment, which he assumed with all the strength of his spirit.
