Sponsorship of Pedro and Afonso, young Kart riders, in the 2019 Rotax Trophy!
Pedro and Afonso are two brothers, respectively 11 and 9 years old, who live in Porto (the city where they were born) and who started in Karting in 2016, having participated in the Rotax Trophy in the years 2017 (Pedro) and 2018 (the Pedro and the Afonso).
They compete this year in distinct categories, being Pedro in the Junior category and Afonso in the Micro category of the Rotax Trophy. In 2016/2017 Pedro was runner-up in the Micro-Academy category and in the 2017/2018 season he was 4th in the Mini category. Afonso was 5th in the Micro-Academy category in 2017/2018. This year they aim to climb to the podium in the respective categories. In the next season they will begin their international course in the European category championship.
Pedro and Afonso are part of a sports car team that was founded by his father: the PARPS Racing Team Competition.
They are two small lovers of motor sport, without neglecting their school responsibilities, attending Pedro the 6th year of schooling and Afonso the 4th year of schooling of an International School in Porto, with full success. Dedicated to sport and very hardworking, they seek partnerships within their team, in addition to the sponsorships already achieved, in order to consolidate their presence in the championships in which they participate and thus continue to pursue the dream of one day in the future, to be pilots professionals, taking Portugal to the podium of motorsport.
Motor sports involve high expenses, and it is important to count on sponsorships and valid partnerships so that, in collaboration with each other, we can achieve minimum standards of high competence. That is why we are launching this campaign.

Afonso
About the author
The father of Pedro and Afonso, Pedro Pinto Soares, lawyer, also an enthusiast of motor sport and practitioner, in the level of Karts, automobiles and motorcycles. He founded a Karting team, is also, by enthusiasm and hobbie, one of the mechanics of the young drivers. The team integrates other mechanics to support the drivers and their karting. Pedro and Afonso have two karting each, one for training and another for competitions. The team has several vehicles, from a truck, a van, caravan, karting for learning, vehicle and go-carting equipment, and it needs a lot of other equipment and expensive consumables: tires, parts, logistics, travel, gasoline, etc. It is also necessary to make a great investment in logistics and travel, since the Rotax championship has proofs all over the country, from North to South of Portugal. However small it may be, the contribution of many can help and make a difference.

Budget and due dates
The funds we are able to raise will be used to finance part of the costs of the tests and training - logistics, travel, accommodation of pilots and mechanics - as well as the necessary consumables - tires, gasoline, among others - without forgetting the costs of participation and inscription in the various tests. The amount we propose to raise will only serve to cover a small percentage of the actual expenses of the young people, and the other expenses will be borne by the parents of Pedro and Afonso and by the sponsors who already believe in us and give us their contribution by cooperating with us and believing in the project of the two pliotos and his team.
The races of the 2016 Rotax Trophy will take place in Palmela from 22 to 24 February; 25/26 May in Viana; on 29/30 June in Baltar; and on 31 August / 1 September in Bombarral.
In order for each rider to participate in each race, it is necessary to pay for expenses that are around € 3,000. That is why we are looking for a contribution of around € 700 for each rider and race, through the campaign now created.
