Soen is a progressive metal supergroup consisting of various high-profile extreme metal musicians, leaded by the brilliant Martin Lopez (Ex Amon Amarth e Opeth), returns to Portugal for two special shows, based on the promotion of their excellent new album – Lykaia.
Martin Lopez has described Soen's music as "melodic, heavy, intricate and very different than everything else." Their debut, Cognitive, was released in February 2012 receiving positive critical reception, the members' technical proficiency was praised the most. Although many reviewers noted stylistic similarities to the music of Tool, the band has proven to be much more than that.
«Lykaia», released on February, it’s Soen’s third album and features Lopez on the drums, Joel Ekelöf on the vocals, Joakim Platbarzdis on guitars and Stefan Stenberg on bass guitar. This is, so far, their most complete and promising record.
In Ancient Greece the Lykaia (Greek: Λυκαία) was an archaic festival with a secret ritual on the slopes of the tallest peak in rustic Arcadia; Mount Lykaion, Wolf Mountain. The rituals and myths of this primitive rite of passage centered upon an ancient threat of cannibalism and the possibility of a werewolf transformation for the participating epheboi (adolescent males).
With excellent reviews and recognition, this record reaches the top with the live performances, so it’s expected nothing less than two memorable shows.

Madder Mortem have released so far 6 albums and will be promoting «Red in tooth and claw», promising an excellent show.
