Provide vacation activities for children / young people with rett syndrome and other disabilities in instructional disabilities.

Provide holiday activities for children and young people with rett syndrome and other disabilities in school disabilities, developing playful, thematic and holiday-related programs.

The program will be developed at different times of the year, by the technical and auxiliary staff of the ANPAR Competence Center, through the promotion of thematic workshops (at the Institution's facilities), the organization of tours, trips to the beach, swimming pools, cinema, theater, museums, theme parks, among others, using the Institution's adapted transport vehicle.

This project will support about 15 children / young people with disabilities who during the holidays are without support in leisure and occupation activities. It is intended to provide moments of joy and fun, appropriate to the tastes and preferences, adapted to the condition, and generators of equal opportunities and social inclusion of its beneficiaries in various activities promoted in the community.

About the author

The association ANPAR - National Association of Rett Parents and Friends, was formed on February 4, 2002, by the joint efforts of the parents of Portuguese girls with Rett Syndrome.

The main goal of these parents in undertaking this initiative is to prevent other children, other couples and other families from following the same difficult and difficult paths they have taken to know, know and understand their daughters' illness and the best thing to do so they acquire a better quality of life.
