About the author

My name is Cristina Felix, I'm forty-three, and I'm from Sintra, where I've lived, practically, my whole life.

I come from a family of artists, where the world of books, painting, photography, restoration, among other artistic activities have always had a strong presence in my life. Since I was little I like to write, as well as to read, fantastic literature being my favorite.

In the last twelve years, I have worked with children in the recreational / creative aspect of ATL where I have developed countless works of plastic expression, corporal expression, and even cinematography, with a short film entitled "The Haunted School"; and in the field of AEC'S (curriculum enrichment classes) where he taught Plastic Expression, always with the aim of stimulating and awakening in the younger ones his creativity and a different way of approaching the various themes.

It was for all these years, working with children, for the children, where I found myself, so many times, looking for new stories and many others I wrote, that this project came to be.

The Serra de Sintra has always been the scene of the most diverse fantasies; in her palaces I was a princess, in the warrior castle, in all the gardens I joked about it, from all the viewpoints I traced routes and let my imagination fly.

This project of the Mystery of the Legends of Sintra, are all this, all the affection I have for the Mountain, all the pleasure I have for writing and all the will I have for seeing children grow up reading a source of knowledge, entertainment and creativity.
