Crowdfunding for purchase of laser cutting printer for the purpose of ongoing use of architecture.

This crowdfunding campaign aims to raise financial resources so that you can buy a cutting and engraving laser printer, which will be of great help in the execution of mock-ups for the architecture course. I am in the 1 year architecture of the Fernando Pessoa University in Porto, next to the Arca de Agua garden (http://www.ufp.pt/) and I already did about 3 models in the first semester. About 80% of the time spent in the works is being the execution of the models, when it should be in the study of the project itself. The mock-up will be the final product of studies of fillings and voids, organization of spaces, ideas of design, is the final product of abandoned studies and other indicators of good way, in the sense of finding the organizing form of space that reaches a Compliance with the program. I realized that I could buy a 3d printer, but I would limit the use of other materials other than the extruded material.  The option for a laser cutting printer allows the use of different materials, from wood, paper, cardboard, k-line, acrylic, aluminum, etc. Of course, and as it is crowdfunding to achieve a personal goal, whoever supports this project will have counterparts as a way of thanking for support. My name is Pedro Miguel Tavares Lopes, I am a native of Vila Nova de Gaia, I am 39 years old and I am a student of the 1 year course in architecture and urbanism at Fernando Pessoa University (http://www.ufp.pt/). Attached is the notes of the practical papers presented until 02/01/2017. I have 15 years of experience in the design of civil construction and public works, working in one of the largest construction companies in Europe. At this moment, as indicated above, I am studying architecture and urbanism at Fernando Pessoa University, as a way of personal appreciation and to be able to enjoy more fully the work that I have developed as an employee for others. The construction industry in Portugal needs people with experience who know how to do well. Doing well costs as much as doing evil, but many think differently for the sake of man's comfort and relationship to space. I want to be part of the solution.

Budget and due dates

The cost of the printer is around € 6000 at this time because the equipment is in pre-order. The difference in values between crowdfunding and € 6000 will be filled with equity, about € 2000. The term of this crowdfunding will be of 60 days from the date of approval of the same.
