Three friends and their most insane adventure. Next August, Aires, Diogo and Hugo (all ultra-runners) are going to encounter what will probably be by far their biggest and most insane challenge: PTL® (La Petite Trotte à Léon).
MONT BLANC - La Petite Trotte à Léon • 2015
La Petite Trotte à Léon is a team ultra-resistence event at the highest level of difficulty. This event takes place in the high mountains, far from any trodden paths. It’s not a run, it’s quite an experience in itself. It’s a long and hard journey done in total autonomy by a team of three determined friends.
The adventure consists in crossing the totality of Monc Blanc in a team, passing by three countries – France, Italy and Switzerland. The journey comprehends 300km of distance and 26000km of positive slope through the most inhospitable mountainous zones. The team has a maximum of 142 hours to finish the challenge.
WHY?
In fact it’s going to be dramatic, frightening and fascinating at the same time. It’s a unique opportunity to be in a place that is both inhospitable and amazing.
A place to test all the physical and mental skills a human being can have. We expect it to be an unforgettable experience that will shape us as better persons.
We are going to run for Nepal. As a parallel objective we will donate 10% of the total money collected for a good cause to the brave and relentless Portuguese Lourenço Macedo Santos and Pedro Queirós who are at the lead of Obrigado Portugal, nós também somos Nepal.
THANK YOU ALL!
