The book will be printed entirely in color on IOR paper, in a 23x23 format, with a hardcover, over 30 pages, and 20 color illustrations.
The book “Luna and the Superpowers of the Heart” is an enchanting collection of stories that combine fantasy, emotion, and universal values, centered on the relationship between Luna, a magical butterfly, and her son, the Rainbow Baby. Each episode presents a new lesson – Friendship, Courage, Empathy, Gratitude, Creativity, Patience, Hope, and Trust – that transforms abstract concepts into sensitive and visual experiences, accessible to the child's imagination. It is a luminous and inspiring work that teaches that true superpowers are born from the heart.
About the author
Hello, I'm Carolina Galo Menegaz, a fashion designer, mother of Vicente, and now, a writer.
My first children's book is called "Luna and the Superpowers of the Heart".
I wrote it during a very difficult time in my life—while living in a shelter for women victims of domestic violence, where I still reside. It was here, amidst the silence and pain, that I found in words a way to breathe, to heal, and to continue believing.
I wrote this book for my 4-year-old son, Vicente. I wanted to show him that, even on the darkest days, there is a light that lives within us—and that true superpowers are born from the heart.
Today, I want to share this story with other children and families. Because I believe that talking about feelings is an act of courage—and that empathy is the most beautiful power we can teach.

Budget and due dates
The total budget is 2600 euros.
1200 for the purchase of 100 books at 12 euros each.
1400 for 20 illustrations at 70 euros each.
I am requesting 1400 euros, half the amount I need.
The book will be released when it reaches the required amount.
