We need to save these two little dogs, we cannot allow them to be handed over to the hunter. We have to show that together we are stronger and we cannot allow evil to win over good. They have no voice, but we do.
Yasmin and Pérola were found by a boy on the street when they were only 4 months old, very mistreated, malnourished, full of parasites. The boy didn't know what to do and started trying to get help from associations or someone connected to the animal cause. And that's how they came to me. I was volunteering and had no way, but I asked my boyfriend at the time to take them in and so it was. On Monday, I took them to the vet to see how they were doing. Thank God, despite the state they were in, they didn't have any serious problems. However, that same day, the boy who found them sent a message saying that the supposed owner had appeared. So, we made an appointment with the man to talk and arrange for their delivery. That night, we went to see the supposed owner of the dogs. When we got there, obviously without taking the dogs, we said good night and his first words were, "Where are the dogs?" Since I was the one responsible for them, I took the lead in the conversation and said to him: -. They are in the house where they were collected, as is obvious, I was not going to bring them without proving to me that he really is the owner. He immediately started to get excited and the conversation derailed. The "sir" said: I paid €750 for each one, I'm a hunter and I want the bitches. Well, if the state we found the bitches in was not in your favor at all, now even less so. I said, well, then, if you bought them, you have to have an invoice, a lop from the breeder. The bitches, in addition to being thin, malnourished and parasitized, don't even have electronic identification. So, let's be calm, prove that the bitches are yours and then, after dealing with things properly, I will hand over the bitches to you. Now, he started with threats, that if he didn't hand them over, if he did it well, he would hand them over badly, and then my boyfriend got involved and said, "That's the end of the conversation, let's go to the police station." And so it was, we went to the police station and explained everything. in front of the agents he had the courage to say that he does not lack hunting dogs because he does that just for sport and that he bought the bitches just for that because if it wasn't for that they wouldn't even interest him at all. The agents told me that if I didn't want to hand over the bitches not to hand them over because there was no proof of what that man said, that is, that the bitches were his... Obviously I didn't hand them over, never at any time did he prove that the animals were his. Well, I was responsible for the bitches but he said he was going to file a complaint against me and so he did. Time went by I was called to the criminal investigation police where the agent didn't even try to hide that there was "knowledge" there and tried to intimidate me in every way to hand over the bitches, he even told me that at any moment they could break down the door and take the bitches, and that I could get a prison sentence of up to 1 year... but well, even so I didn't give in. I said I wouldn't hand over the bitches and that they should go to court then... Ready and so it was. I knew he had knowledge but I didn't know to what extent. We went to court even though there was no evidence for the judge, the word of two other hunters who supposedly were the ones who sold them the dogs (or rather, who gave them to him. Because in court he didn't say he bought them, he said they offered them to him). Well, the word of these two "gentlemen" was enough. There's no need for proof, proof for the judge to decide. It's decided, it's not even worth it. In short, what the judge said: either I pay €1,000 to Mr. Hunter within 60 days or I have to hand over the dogs. Obviously, I don't have that money because if I did, I would pay it immediately just to avoid taking any more risks and they wouldn't end up in the hands of that man. Now is the time to appeal to all of you. For Yasmin and Pérola and for so many others who unfortunately are in the hands of people like this and when they could be saved, justice once again doesn't work as it should. Please help me get the €1,000 to pay and not having to hand over Yasmin and Pérola. We have 60 days or they will be handed over to the hunter, it is a desperate request for these girls who, if handed over, will most likely end up dead as they are no longer useful for hunting, as I sterilized them and raised them as companion dogs full of love and affection.
