The Extraordinary Life of Catty

Let's make Carminho Muñoz dream of launching her book - The Extraordinary Life of Catty - come true!

Let's make Carminho Muñoz dream of launching her book - The Extraordinary Life of Catty - come true!

The Extraordinary Life of Catty is an autobiographical account of overcoming, growth and acceptance. Written by Caminho Muñoz, the book presents the journey of Catherine Andrews, a young woman born with cerebral palsy, who faces physical and emotional challenges throughout her life. The book highlights themes such as identity, mental health, resilience and inclusion, providing an authentic and deeply human perspective on the experience of disability and adolescence.

The Extraordinary Life of Catty is not just a book - it is a powerful and honest account of resilience, growth and acceptance. Carminho Muñoz offers a unique perspective on living with cerebral palsy, challenging prejudices and showing that a disability does not define a person. This is a story with the potential to touch lives, inspire young people and foster inclusion.

A story that deserves to be published and read by as many people as possible.

About the author

In the times we live in and in the face of so many social challenges, supporting this cause is something natural. I am a person who deeply believes in the power of stories to change mindsets and inspire transformation. As a passionate reader and advocate for inclusion, I saw this book as a unique opportunity to give visibility to a real testimony of overcoming and resilience.

Ever since I heard about Carminho’s dream of publishing a book and asked her to read it, I felt I couldn’t remain indifferent. Writing has always been her refuge and her most authentic form of expression, and I realized that this project deserved to come to life. I therefore decided to do everything in my power to help her make this dream a reality, allowing her voice to reach so many other people who need inspiration and strength to face their own challenges.

Budget and due dates

The book will be released at the end of May, and to make it happen, we need to raise €3,500.

The funds raised will be used for:

  • Proofreading, editing, and layout

  • Printing 300 copies

  • Organizing and preparing a press conference (to which everyone is already invited)

  • PPL commission

If we not only reach our goal but even exceed it, we are considering a second edition of the book! 😉

A campanha continua!!

    Mais uma vez obrigada
