Hello everybody,

I'm Beatriz Bagulho, an illustrator and animation director with a deep passion for drawing and creativity. I have dedicated my life to illustrating charming stories through various projects, such as children's books, cartoons and shows. I am always looking for new creative horizons, getting involved and creating artistic projects.

Today, I present to you a very special project that I have been working on in my free time: a 2024 calendar, full of unique and inspiring illustrations. Over the past few months, I've dove headfirst into this project, drawing and painting to represent each month in a unique but relatable way. Each illustration is a window into a world of colors, imagination and stories, reflecting the essence and atmosphere I associate with each month.

However, there is still some way to go to make this calendar a reality, and have it ready by the beginning of December: I still need to complete some of the final designs, create the cover, organize the design and, of course, print the calendars. This is where you, the supporters and enthusiasts, come into play. I am launching this crowdfunding campaign to be able to complete this project, thus pre-selling (as it is not possible for me to cover all the expenses in advance) and sharing with you my passion for illustration.

By supporting this campaign, not only will you make the creation of this calendar possible, but you will also be able to receive other little things that I have in my store (prints, bags, stickers) and even purchase an original of one of the calendar's illustrations. Your contribution will help bring each page of 2024 to life, and transform this calendar into a piece of art that will fill the homes of everyone who receives it with color and inspiration.

About the author

Beatriz Bagulho is an illustrator, animator and director. Communicates through drawing, transforming concepts and stories into visual universes. Graduated in Animation from the University of the West of England, she has completed the Advanced Drawing Course from Nextart and the Children's Book Pro Course from the Society of Visual Storytelling. In his professional career he seeks to create a bridge between the performing and audiovisual arts.

Highlights include: illustration and design of the book "Em Andante Appassionato" (TNSC, 2022); art direction and animation in the show "Gaspar" (Crianças Loucas, 2022); animation for the show "Farfelu" (Zonzo Compagnie, 2021); creation of installation, sets, costumes and animation in the “Ciclo de Desaniversário” (CCB, 2021); direction of graphic materials for “Festivalar” (Municipality of Oeiras, 2020); animation for a videomapping show (Oskar & Gaspar, 2020); illustration and design of the book-cd “A Menina do Mar” (Valentim de Carvalho, 2019); illustration and design of the book "A Cidade" (Impresa Nacional, 2018); visual development of the show "A Floresta" (Teatro do Mar, 2019).

As an author, it is worth highlighting the production and animation of the short films “(In)Dividual” (2019) and “Corporealitis” (2018), presented and awarded at international festivals.

February - October 2023 : Creation of illustrations for the calendar

October-November 2023 : Crowdfunding + cover illustration + calendar design

November 7, 2023 - end of the Crowdfunding campaign

8 November - 20 November 2023 : Printing of the calendar at Gráfica 99

28 November 2023 : Opening of exhibition of calendar originals at Re-Criativa República 14 / Launch in Faro

From November 28, 2023 : Hand delivery or mailing of copies sold through crowdfunding (to arrive before Christmas)

Early December 2023 (location to be decided): Launch in Lisbon
