"Mulher à beira de uma largada de pombos" is a musical theater piece based on the book of short stories by Maria Jorgete Teixeira, totally inspired by the musical work of José Afonso and his “women in mourning and struggle”.
The COVID-19 Pandemic was a moment where various sectors of society suffered a drastic and sometimes irreversible shake. During this period, there was a large drop in investment in the cultural sector in several countries, leaving thousands of projects without the possibility of execution. Faced with our reality, we are opening this campaign to raise funds for the production of the musical piece "Mulher à beira de uma largada de pombos" based on the book of short stories by Maria Jorgete Teixeira, totally inspired by the musical work of José Afonso and his “ women of mourning and struggle”.
The tales narrated and lived by the actress are the stories of the characters, Portuguese and African women who suffered moral, sexual, psychological and physical torture, the death of their children by war and hunger, and who were imprisoned and tortured by the political regime. fascist until April 1974.
Staged and performed by Christiane de Macedo, accompanied by musician Rodrigo Augusto Ribeiro, who sings and interprets the emblematic songs of the immortal and renowned poet and singer Zeca Afonso.

On television, she acted in numerous series, in addition to presenting institutional videos and numerous advertising campaigns.
Throughout her career, she has also taught free theater courses, workshops on Interpretation, Improvisation, Performance and dramaturgy.
She is Curator of Culture Edicts in the areas of Performing Arts, and Juror in Theater Festivals throughout Brazil.
For 10 years he was part of the Companhia Brasileira de Teatro, traveling all over the country. She is part of the Homer Iliad Company, in the Recital of Canto II of Homer's Iliad.
It was directed and performed with significant names from the National Theater.
