The short documentary "This kind of woman" wants to have an international premiere and needs your help.

"This kind of woman" is a short documentary film produced as part of the Master's Degree in Cinematography - Specialization in Documentary and Experimental Cinema at ESMAD.

Between Vila das Aves and Lordelo, a taxi driver, a truck driver and a mechanic show us what it's like to make a living from a job usually performed by men.

This 20-minute film follows the work and personal routines of these women and captures accounts of situations where gender is a differentiating factor and instigator of challenges.

After finishing the production of our short film, a project that was only possible thanks to the generosity and dedication of the entire team and participants, we now need the next big push, which is to ensure that this work can be shown at a film festival outside its birthplace.

Let us explain:

Submitting films to film festivals, both national and international, requires significant funds to cover submission fees, marketing, and other associated costs. This is where our crowdfunding campaign comes in.
