A man with a color phobia confronts a fruit basket inside his house.
The video presented above illustrates our theme of fear and phobias, as well as the discomfort we intend to create in the photo booth before the film is broadcast (the video itself is not allusive to the film's story). By combining 7 distinct phobias, we created an experience that encourages the viewer to look away from the screen, or to fill up with courage and endure the whole experience.
As for the story, Bruno has lived for so long in a black and white environment that he forgets what colors are, as does his phobia of them. Seeing all the colors inside a fruit basket, Bruno rediscovers his fear and the effects of his phobia. In the end, Bruno discovers that he is cured of his phobia and that he can leave the prison without color. Sometimes we think that the ideas we created in the past are the ultimate truth. As we grow, our truths grow with us and sometimes become the lies we tell ourselves to comfort ourselves from the past.
This short film aims to explore the concept of fear and the possession it can have in someone, as well as encouraging the viewer to free themselves from their forgotten fears and phobias in order to exceed the limits of their life and live it to the fullest. : escaping his black and white prison and being guided by the colors of the world. This project also aims to bring attraction cinema back to the viewer and to explore its concept in a more artistic form instead of narrative.
