Help me obtain photographic material for my studies and future.

I need to improve my equipment because the school and my projects imply certain conditions that I cannot fulfill with the current equipment.

Hello, I'm Lucas and I'm a photography student at Escola Profissional de Imagem (EPI).

I have always loved photography and it has always been my dream. Since I was young, I went out with my father to take photos, using his camera, and with this dream growing more and more I decided to enter the EPI school in Lisbon.

However, I have never had any photographic equipment that belongs to me and I still don't. Until then, I didn't have much need to obtain new equipment as I always used my father's camera and lens, but recently, after entering professional school image, the images went up a notch and I had to try to adapt with the equipment I had available. And I can say it was a success as I have now finished the first year of the course with the same camera I had 12 years ago. However, photographic equipment is quite expensive so I took the initiative to sell pencils, but it is a bit difficult to reach a large number of people just selling pencils so I decided to use PPL.

Now that a new school year is coming, I'm finally going to do my best to get the equipment I've always wanted. Thank you in advance for any and all support and I hope that this dream of mine is closer to becoming a reality.

About the author

We are Lucas' parents, we present ourselves in this request for support made by him, as we believe in his vocation for photography. Lucas has always been very smart, responsible and mature for his age. From an early age, photography was his answer, when the famous question of "what do you want to be when you grow up" arose.

In this last academic year and on his own initiative, he chose professional education in the area he always liked. He entered the photography course at the Professional School Image. He completed his academic career without any fault, with dedication and without any requirement in terms of equipment, he worked with our old family machine, as he knew that the step of entering a private school already presented a burden on the family budget.

Starting this plan to raise money, either by selling pencils or by presenting this request for support, was a way for Lucas to not only obtain his equipment so that he could evolve as a professional, but also grow as a human being, becoming stronger, more capable and knowledgeable about the difficulties that life presents.

If we add these values together it gives much more than what I'm asking here at PPL but I only need to ask for this amount because as I mentioned, I'm selling pencils and I've also been saving money since December last year:)

The goal would be to raise the money until school starts but I know it's a little difficult, so I'm going to plan until October to make this dream come true:)
