Hip Hop Unite PORTUGAL - World Qualifications

The Hip Hop Unite PORTUGAL event is a dance competition organized across the country, where hundreds of dancers participate, wanting to fight for the 1st place, and for a place to represent Portugal in the Hip Hop Unite World Championships.

Due to the current situation in our country and in the face of the "COVID-19" pandemic, the event may take place in June 2021 but with no public present.

This event drew thousands of spectators to see the brilliant competing crews, and a large part of our monetary aid came from public tickets.

The virus cannot stop us and that is why Hip Hop Unite Portugal will be transmitted free of charge to everyone via STREAMING, via Youtube.

To the spectators of STREAMING we give the opportunity to make a small donation (as if it were an entrance ticket) to help us with the costs and expenses inherent to the championship (streaming expenses, travel by the HHU team, juries, disinfection of space for dancers, etc.).

Hip Hop Unite Portugal is a non-profit organization created to develop the future of dance in Portugal. We are in charge of organizing qualifying competitions for European and World Hip Hop Unite.

Hip Hop Unite has more than 17 member countries, where the competition is not just about winning. It is about respect, brotherhood and unity. The mission is to create a healthy, fair and professional competition for the dance community and in the style of Hip Hop.

Budget and due dates

The event will be recorded days:

4th of June - Padrão da Légua Social and Parish Center, Matosinhos;

June 5 - ABC Contemporary Ballet Academy, Vila Real de Santo António;

6th of June - Philharmonic Society 1st December, Montijo.

The streaming will be broadcast, via YOUTUBE, on the 12th of June where the winners of all categories will be announced.
