Fundraising for participation in the Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships in Italy 2026

Help Benedita and Salvador reach the World Cup! A dream we want to make come true together.

Two young athletes, a pair, a big dream: to represent Portugal and Guimarães at the Junior Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships.

Benedita Lopes and Salvador Oliveira , athletes from Guimagym — Clube de Ginástica de Guimarães , have officially qualified to represent Portugal in the Mixed Pairs category at the 2nd Junior Acrobatic Gymnastics World Championships, organized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG).

The competition will take place between September 16 and 20, 2026, in Pesaro, Italy, at the Vitrifrigo Arena , bringing together the best young gymnasts in the world.

Now, we need your help so that they can be present. Helping us cover the travel costs.

A duo that has already made history.

This achievement is the result of hard work, dedication, and overcoming challenges.

Benedita and Salvador earned their place in the World Championship through a demanding selection process, where they demonstrated technical excellence, team spirit, and enormous determination.

Their journey also includes a source of immense pride: in April 2025 , they were crowned European Acrobatic Gymnastics Champions in the Mixed Pairs Age Group category.

Now, they face the biggest challenge of their young careers: the World Championship.

When Benedita and Salvador enter the competition, they will not only be representing Guimagym. They will be representing Portugal, and all those who believe in sport and young athletes .

Behind every minute of competition lie hundreds of hours of training, sacrifice, dedication, and teamwork between athletes, coaches, families, and the club.

GUIMAGYM – Clube de Ginástica de Guimarães (Guimarães Gymnastics Club) was founded on July 21, 2016, and became the first gymnastics club to join the Guimarães associative movement.

GUIMAGYM thus came to fill a gap in the sports offerings in Guimarães. More than just a club, GUIMAGYM aims to establish itself as a sporting reference in the community and contribute to improving people's quality of life. We have a diverse and comprehensive offering, both in terms of age groups and types of gymnastic activity, thus trying to satisfy the desires of participants and their families.
