Bootcamp dos Guerreiros, environmental project, a dream of a lifetime.

In 2013 I created an environmental protection project with a tourist aspect for my area Leiria, Portugal. Unfortunately, since it is the Pinhal de Leiria and is a Natural Reserve, the Portuguese State gave me no alternative but to keep this project until today.

In October 2017 there was a huge fire and 80% of the National Forest disappeared. My project also covered cleaning, surveillance and a first intervention system in case of fire.

In 2022 I purchased a Bangolow and installed it on a private plot of land in the heart of Pinhal de Leiria. (Living in the middle of nature in a cabin, a dream achieved) I discovered a gap, and it was then that I once again had hope in my project.

I have a private plot of land big enough to create an obstacle course and place a few bangoloows.

Unfortunately, the state or the competent entities do not give me any type of support for a project that is an asset to me.

I'm a single mother, I bought what I have alone and I work to keep my Bangolow and give myself and my son a dignified life.

I would like to be able to make this dream of mine come true not only for personal fulfillment, but also to show my son that life is not easy but we must fight to achieve our dreams and eventually one day these dreams can come true.

I work and try to do my best every day but I would like life to be more than working and paying bills and achieving a little more than the previous day (which unfortunately doesn't happen, sometimes it's less) which doesn't allow me to move forward with this project despite already having the space.😞

Warriors Bootcamp Project.

My last name is Guerreiro and I think it's the ideal name 😃.

1st part- Create an obstacle course with sustainable and recycled materials. I have a lot of trees to climb, loose pieces of wood to set up different types of obstacles, sand and stones, but I will need more materials. It would be my training ground.

2nd part - Create exciting and challenging trails. There are already trails here that we can use, but there is still organization and safety, which takes time, knowledge and investment.

3rd part- Create legal security for people to participate. It's one thing to create a training camp for myself, it's another to have a Bootcamp open to the public, it means having to legalize and take out insurance so that nothing goes wrong and it's something fantastic for everyone.

4th Part- acquire facilities to accommodate people for longer duration tests. Acquisition of Bangoloows and construction of infrastructure such as septic tanks, water, electricity.

5th part - Create spectacular events, create activities for leisure and relaxation, create crazy tours and especially imagination will be our limit and never forget that appreciating and protecting Nature will always be our first rule and help so that one day our Pine Forest returns to be what it was.

Who knows, perhaps one day the Spartan and OCR races will take place in the lands of D`El Rei D. Dinis.

My name is Inês, I'm 42 years old, I'm the mother of a boy who is my light, I'm from the Leiria area and in 2012/2013 I created this project.

From a young age, I always liked outdoor and challenging activities, I always liked sports and loved nature.

I live in a beautiful area with many mountains and hills by the sea and where there is the magnificent Pinhal de Leiria (unfortunately destroyed by the big fire in October 2017).

I am also a fan of OCR and Spartan obstacle courses.

I'm not a person of great luxuries, I love life in the countryside, I even live in a Mobile Home or Bangolo or house with wheels (whatever you want to call it) right on the edge of the pine forest with my son. 💗

Since I was a little girl, I liked Barbie's bike, Barbie's Jeep, Barbie's motorcycle and Ken (Ken is a rant in his own right🤣). I've always liked sports, and on weekends I loved walks in the woods with my family, that smell of pine trees, animals, bathing in lakes and streams, and I love enjoying the beach even in winter. As I grew up, my passion for adventures, nature, sport, motorbikes and Jeeps grew with me, and I always wanted to create a mix of all of this in my life.

At the age of 20 I discovered another passion, military tests, (if you look closely, military life encompasses this idea a bit in my mix) I even ran for Alfeite but for reasons that I won't specify I didn't get to go ahead and it's one of the biggest regrets I have. Hence my penchant for OCR and Spartan races (I would love to get on my motorbike one day and travel around Europe to take part in the various races that already exist, namely the one in Barcelona).

But life hasn't been easy, I had to sell my motorbike (a dream I achieved but had to give up), my health hasn't helped and for these reasons the desire to carry out this project is growing. I'm tired of giving up or postponing my dreams, and for that I need your help.

Budget and due dates

1st and 2nd stage-€5000 in 3 months

3rd, 4th and 5th stage. €50,000 to €75,000 in 6 to 8 months.
