The Neighborhood Without Caries project is a project for the promotion, prevention, diagnosis and treatment in the oral health area, which aims to support children, youth and families in need living in the social districts of the Municipality of Seixal to have access to dental treatment. The prevalence of dental caries in the social neighborhoods is very high above 80%. This project has already treated over 1,000 children and young people at the Community Center for Oral Health and has provided toothbrushes and toothpastes to 150 needy families.
