What if the Portuguese Discoveries had never happened and Brazil was discovered today by a clumsy rapper?
'Ganda Trip' is a non-sense comedy, in the style of Monty Python, which unites the world of Hip-Hop with the History of Portugal, thus bringing together two themes that have never been combined before. The series explores a surrealist world in the sense that there is no historical coherence and the rules of nature are distorted. It's set in 2020 and the world is developed exactly like the real world we know, but with a difference: Brazil and its natives have never had contact with any settlement. In a parallel world, Pedro Álvares Cabral was born in the 90s in the body of a rapper.
PAC (short for Pedro Álvares Cabral) - a 24-year-old rapper - thinks he is the "alpha male", brave, intelligent, adventurous and strong, but in fact he reveals himself to be a sissy and not intelligent at all. PAC wants to impress his girlfriend - Shawty - throughout his adventures in Brazil, but he's no good at doing anything. He always gets himself into trouble.

Hip-Hop is the new Rock n 'roll of the 21st century. It is a movement that today moves millions of people and, particularly in Portugal, the majority of young people. It is something that transcends fashion: it's a way of being that is intrinsic to them.
'Ganda Trip' was born out of this contemporary moment and adds something to it: a series with the possibility of integrating some of young people's favourite artists, materializing the idea that we strongly believe is a comedy with which millennials will relate, and a fun approach to the History of Portugal.
We started this project shortly before Portugal went into a state of emergency and that is why much of the pre-production was done at home. The constant commitment and dedication of all the team members, despite being decisive, is not enough for the project to be carried out, for this, we need your help. We resorted to this campaign to obtain support in financing the project.
