The Dance Awards Orlando 2022

This year the dance school "EDAK", which my daughter attends, will represent Portugal in the important dance competition "The Dance Awards"; in Orlando in July. Each student will pay for their trip so any help is welcome, thank you!

EDAK (Dance School Ana Köhler) is my daughter Carolina's second home! Every two years (although, with the pandemic, they haven't been there for three) they go to the United States to compete in the different editions of this competition. They have already been to New York and Las Vegas (2x) on 2015/17/19 respectively. Even though they were competing against people with 50 hours a week, "EDAK" students went with an average of 10 hours a week of dancing and won numerous awards!

It was a truly unforgettable, enriching and very special experience for her, so much so that she will be attending the Dance Awards for the second year.

There will be 10 days in July this year so, as I said, each student will pay for their trip, and the money raised will be a very important help to pay for their own stay and competition!

Hi, I'm Carla, mother of Carolina Pinto, and I know how important this trip is for her.

Carolina is 16 years old and has been dancing for 12 years at "EDAK". Ballet, jazz and broadway dance, although these are the ones she attends at the moment, she has done other styles!

He is in the 10th year in the area of Economics (socio-economic sciences). I dance 8 hours a week and I know how much willpower and sacrifice it takes to be able to balance dancing with school, friends and family. But she says it's a worthwhile effort, especially for moments like this!
