A Cup of Comedy

"A Cup of Comedy" is a fun event full of positive vibes. It will provide a relaxing late afternoon at sunset. The access to the event is guaranteed by purchasing a ticket that includes appetizers for all participants, a wine tasting and / or craft beers accompanied by ambient music and a stand-up comedy show.

"A Cup of Comedy" is a fun event full of positive vibes. It will provide a relaxing late afternoon at sunset. The access to the event is guaranteed by purchasing a ticket that includes appetizers for all participants, a wine tasting and / or craft beers accompanied by ambient music and a stand-up comedy show.

The "A Cup of Comedy" event is a cultural event that aims to get people out of their routine and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. We intend to give the opportunity to promote the art of new musical artists and stand up comedy artists. The ambient music will be provided by amateur musicians (authors of the background music of the video presented in this campaign). The cultural aspect of this project is also based on the tastings that will be carried out and on the appreciation of the products used in them. It differentiates because it provides stand-up comedy shows and a wine and / or craft beer tasting at the same event, an uncommon joint.

About the author

We are a group of finalist students of the degree of Leisure Management and Tourism Entertainment at the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies.

For the end of course project we are proposed to do the planning, organization and implementation of a cultural event. Our desire to provide a moment of relaxation combining two very appealing initiatives but rarely together in the same event, gave rise to the concept "A Cup of Comedy."

Given the academic nature of this project, we are using this platform of crowdfunding with the objective of obtaining financial support for the accomplishment of this event with success.

Budget and due dates

The "A Comedy Cup" event will take place in May 2019 on a weekend to be defined.

The funds raised through this platform are exclusively for the hiring of stand up comedy artists.
