Our request is to collect your support for the purchase of a wood oven, with which we can teach children how to make bread, cakes, chestnuts, among other recipes that delight them.
Within the scope of the multiple activities that Cintra Tribus develops, cooking appears as essential for the general evolution of the child, while inserted in the local culture and habits. The location and type of insertion that the project has in nature, demand that this aspect be provided using the means that nature provides, namely firewood, pine cones and wood scraps that the pine forest offers. A wood oven is therefore essential for us to advance even further in our adventure. Therefore, our request is to collect your support for the purchase of this oven, with which we can teach children how to make bread, cakes, chestnuts, among other recipes that delight them.
About the author
Cintra Tribus is an educational project created in July 2020, in Colares, based on outdoor education, which promotes contact with nature. A pine forest in Sintra was the chosen space for this autonomous and creative exploration of each child. Provides a free and conscious play routine in nature, develops skills in autonomy, communication, teamwork, sensory and cognitive exploration, always promoting health and well-being. Cintra Tribus organizes regular Saturday gatherings, birthday parties, school activities and break weeks such as Christmas and summer holidays. In these meetings in the pine forest, we can find plastic arts activities, mud cooking, balances, constructions in nature, bonfires, music, paintings, clay, among other challenges.
