My biggest dream is on the way to being realized. After a long time, I decided to unscrew the pen, take the paper out of the drawer and get creative to tell stories again.
I always felt empathy for environmental causes, but did not actively practice them. When I was a mother I became aware of the world and the state it is in. I don't want my children, or any other child in the world, to grow up on a planet with a future as uncertain as it is catastrophic. I jumped into action with this “Challenging challenge!” which is “The Cry, Cry!” in which I discuss the importance of trees for climate balance, issuing a challenge to children and adults on the need to act now, as tomorrow may be too late. It's not just my work, the illustrations were made by Mara, my daughter, and the cover and back cover by André, my son, both only 11 years old, by collaborating with me I managed to get them out of the new technologies, which also is a goal of this tale.
But for "O Cry, Cry! A challenging challenge" to reach all schools, all homes and all people, I need you. Support this project if you want to stop "being part of the problem and start being part of the solution."

Budget and due dates
In order for a book to be read by everyone, it must first be written, of course, but the final result that will reach your hands is expensive, as the work of the publisher implies a lot of expenses, in my case Editora Filigrana, which fully believed in success of this story, asks me €864 for editing and printing the first 100 copies:
When ordering, I must deliver 50% of the value ( in my case I already delivered €350 )
- Text proofreading;
- Treatment of illustrations;
- Pagination in 160 mm x 235 mm format (width x height), with up to 72 pages in white or cream 100 grams paper, 51 pages printed in B/W and 21 pages printed in color.
- Cover with or without 120 mm flaps in 300 gram coated cardstock, printed in 4/0 colors and plasticized in matte or glossy.
- All in RECYCLED PAPER;
After all the previous steps, I must pay the remaining 50% to be able to proceed ( in my case I still have €514 missing, for the final printing + €56 of commissions )
- ISBN registration for print edition. ISBN barcode. Legal deposit. Transport. Test book.
- Promotional marketing and presentation sessions.
I have until the 25th of May to get the 570 euros that I need to present the book before the end of the school year at my children's school, CERN in Campo Maior.
