«Crowdfunding: Financing alternative for new ideas and businesses»

PPL, in partnership with CATOLICA-LISBON School of Business & Economics, had the pleasure to organize the first international event in Portugal about crowdfunding.

The main goal of the Crowdfunding: Financing alternative for new ideas and businesses event was to present the concept and discuss its potential to support new creative ideas and promote innovative projects in Portugal.
Two established guest speakers presented their reference platforms in England and Netherlands, based on equity crowdfunding. The projects published on the donation-based crowdfunding platform PPL were also presented. The event closed with a speed networking cocktail to allow participants to personally speak to our international guests, project owners and the PPL team (created during the The Lisbon MBA - Catolica | Nova | MIT).
