From February 18 to 28, 2025, we're travelling on a volunteer trip to Tanzania with a clear and urgent mission: to ensure nutrition for hundreds of children at Moivo Primary School.
Currently, the school has 783 children, from 1st grade to 6th grade, but around 500 students do not have access to food. This situation affects their academic performance and compromises their future.
We want to change that, and with your help, we can!

The problem:
Families have to pay a fee of 25 euros per year to ensure that their children have access to meals at school, which include morning extra meals for 1st and 2nd grade students and lunch for all. However, many of these families cannot afford this expense. As a result, hundreds of children are left without access to basic food that is necessary for their development.
Our solution:
- Stage 1: Fundraising – Our first goal is to raise 5,000 euros, the equivalent of feeding 200 children for a year. These meals will be a vital support for their growth and well-being during the school year.
- Sponsorship – For the remaining 300 children, we will implement a sponsorship system. For a contribution of just 25 euros per year, you can sponsor a child, ensuring that they have access to meals throughout their stay at Moivo Primary School, from grade 1 to grade 6. As a sponsor, you will receive updates and videos about the child, allowing you to follow their academic and personal progress over time.

Apoio à Nutrição de 500 Crianças na Tanzânia
Gostaríamos de agradecer a todos que apoiaram a nossa missão de nutrir 500 crianças na Tanzânia. Este objetivo só está a ser possível graças ao vosso apoio! 💙
Atualização da Campanha
A campanha estará ativa por mais 1 dia e 8 horas e, até ao momento, já conseguimos angariar:
- 555€ pela plataforma PPL
Além disso, temos trabalhado noutras iniciativas:
- 716€ angariados através de ações e vendas solidárias.
- 499,20€ em donativos provenientes da viagem de voluntariado com a Whoa, onde cada voluntário contribui diretamente para a missão de nutrição na comunidade.
Total angariado até agora: 1.770,20€
Próximas Ações
Ainda temos atividades planeadas para dezembro e janeiro que nos ajudarão a alcançar o objetivo final.
Sistema de Apadrinhamento
Estamos também a desenvolver um sistema de apadrinhamento que permitirá apoiar crianças da escola Moivo, em Arusha. Cada padrinho poderá contribuir para o bem-estar de um estudante, independentemente do ano em que este se encontre (desde a 1ª classe em diante), garantindo suporte até ao 7º ano, que é quando o percurso escolar termina na escola.
Já temos 24 padrinhos que se juntaram a esta causa, ajudando a transformar vidas!
Com uma contribuição de 25€ anuais, estará a assegurar a estas crianças acesso a alimentação regular de segunda a sexta-feira, um elemento essencial para o seu crescimento e sucesso escolar.
