Terra Solta with Roof - TSR

The funds we are raising will be used to repair the roof of Associação Movimento Terra Solta (AMTS) to save its facilities, which include the only public library in the parish of Campanhã.

The roof of Associação Movimento Terra Solta (AMTS) is very old and needs urgent renovation. It rains inside the facilities, affecting the only public library in the parish of Campanhã, the kitchen/living room, workroom, tool rooms, the room of the Orquestra Comunitária Mundo em Campanhã (OCMC), the bathroom and other necessary spaces to the proper functioning of the AMTS.

This campaign appears in the "causes" mode, allowing you to decide whether your offer is CONDITIONAL or UNCONDITIONAL. We ask that the offer to be UNCONDITIONAL so that AMTS receives the funds, even if it does not reach the necessary amount (€10,000) for the total renovation of the roof, so that we can start with the priority parts (kitchen and library) depending on the contributions raised .

About the author

AMTS is a non-profit association, made up of a group of people mobilized for the preservation of the planet and all forms of life, including human life, as a right, and in a solidary relationship. It is a non-partisan movement.

The Association develops actions in abandoned spaces and practices solidarity, cooperativism, organic and biodynamic agriculture and shared urban communities. We work for a fairer and freer society in communion with the environment.

AMTS occupies premises provided, free of charge, by the Centro Juvenil de Campanhã which, being degraded, are being restored by the Association's volunteer work.

Budget and due dates

Budget: €10,000 (VAT included, see annex)

Timing: Fundraising by April 19, 2023

Completion of the work: May 2023

As soon as this campaign is over and we receive the necessary money, we will immediately start work on the roof. If we raise the entire 10,000 euros, we will fix the entire roof, thus allowing activities and meetings to be held throughout the year, even when it rains. If we raise only part of it, we will fix the roof of the rooms that are most urgent.
