Tribo Verde is a dream that we fulfill a little bit every day. With a lot of effort, dedication and help from those who pass our way. We still don't have 1 year of existence but the Tribo is, fortunately, growing. We started with a full-time application. For the next academic year we will have 11! And we want to give these children as much comfort as we can! We are mostly outdoors and that is clear when in the winter, we take home kilos of mud from puddles and in the summer, it seems that we work in the mine with so much dust on our faces :D But there are days and days, and also we need our little corner and our recollection. We also need a cozy room and the possibility to choose whether we want to be outside or inside. And right now, despite having a dome as a shelter, it becomes difficult to have children who take a nap and those who don't sleep in the same space. Different needs, different space. These are projects that only make sense, in our view, in small groups of children, something more individualized, with a sense of community and greater proximity. So, we came to ask for help to buy a wooden house to be the nap nest for the little ones.
This campaign had the fundamental help of family members, João Mestre produced the campaign video (@joaomestrefotografia), friends, singer Mariana Guimarães gave us her beautiful voice for the video (@amarianaguimaraes), the children of the Tribe and the parents who waited for the recordings to end! :D

EN Hello! My name is Vânia Espada, who is behind the Tribo Verde project. I'd like to introduce myself, I'm 36 years old, I love children from an early age and life has given me two twin brothers who are 21 years apart from me! With them, I realized that children need more than a room with 4 walls and a few toys. They need something different, that makes them create, imagine and at the same time learn. I always dreamed of having a project of my own, to be able to bring happiness to children in the context of Nature, but I never had the courage to leave my workplace. I worked in banking for 13 years and was always told it had nothing to do with me. And it didn't! But the secure, well-paying job was more important than my happiness. He said he was happy on vacation and that was enough. No, it's not enough.... we have to be happy every day a little bit. At the age of 35 I made the decision to leave my job and venture into this project that is Tribo Verde. I took the Post Graduation in Outdoor Teaching and the Forest School Leader course. And here I am, asking for your help. Our planet needs help, we don't take care of what we don't know, so our children need to live and be happy in Nature to understand its importance! It makes sense? :)

EN Budget for a wooden house:
Total construction cost: 8500€
Costs borne by the Association: 3054€ (the net amount to be received from the 6000€ is 5446.50€, due to commissions; we will also bear the costs of Transport + Slab + Assembly + Miscellaneous material (silicones, screws, etc.) .
Amount to raise: 6000€
Calendar:
1st half of June: Promotion of the campaign and fundraising
2nd Quainzena of July: Purchase of the wooden house
2nd half of August: Start of construction of the House
2nd week of September: Opening of the new space!
