Todo Mundo Canta Internacional, who will be the next voice of the Cape Verdean diaspora is a musical project to discover Cape Verdean music talents. Our objective is to promote and enhance traditional Cape Verdean music.

Imagine the young talents, who once only because of a lack of opportunities silenced their voices and felt frustrated by once-impossible dreams. With Todo Mundo Canta Internacional (TMC Internacional) we rescue these dreams. Each note sung is a new step towards a musical career, through our mornas, coladeiras, batuque and funaná. But, for our symphony to continue, we need you.

About the author

TMC Internacional is a joint initiative between the company SVTUR linked to the production and management of cultural events in São Vicente, DRM, a media production company, based in Rotterdam, and with the partnership and support of the consultant Cardoso Consulting, in São Vicente . The promoters have extensive experience in the area of production and management of cultural events, having held various cultural events such as Todo Mundo Canta Nacional in Cape Verde, which is now in its 12th edition, UVI Morna, concerts dedicated to the promotion of Morna , as intangible heritage of humanity, various shows, artists' agency in Cape Verde, congresses, television programs, workshops, among others.

Budget and due dates

This year the gala of the 3rd edition of TMC Internacional will take place in the foyer of the Teatro Zuidplein, on September 21st. The event will bring together, on the same stage, the 10 best Cape Verdean music talents in the diaspora, who will compete against each other to choose the next winner. The winning contestant will be, for a year, the ambassador of TMC Internacional, promoting our brand among Cape Verdean communities in the diaspora.

Our project is budgeted at 20 thousand euros, including travel expenses, accommodation, food, concert hall, freight forwarders, prizes and also for promoting the event.
