I am asking for your help to save Sushi’s life, who was recently diagnosed with a terrible and, until recently, incurable disease – Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). This devastating disease is already taking a serious toll on Sushi’s health, who has always been a playful, affectionate and energetic cat. Now, he urgently needs expensive treatment to survive. Since his diagnosis, I have done everything in my power to provide him with the best possible care, but the treatment for FIP is extremely expensive and unaffordable for me alone. The medication he needs (GS-441524) has been shown to be effective, with a very high success rate, but its cost is high and I cannot afford it without help.

Hello, my name is Márcia, and I am the guardian of Sushi, my four-legged companion for 4 months. For me, Sushi is not just a cat, he is part of my family and a true friend. Since the moment I adopted him, he has brought joy and comfort to my life every day. I love watching him play with his sister, exploring the house with that feline curiosity and, of course, the moments of affection we share. He has been a pillar of happiness in my life.

Unfortunately, since Sushi was diagnosed with FIP, everything has changed. This diagnosis has shaken me deeply, and I am now doing everything I can to ensure that he has the best chance of survival. However, the high cost of treatment is beyond my means, which is why I am asking for everyone’s help.

Budget and Treatment Time

Sushi's FIP treatment needs to be done continuously for 12 weeks, and the cost is high due to the antiviral medication required (GS-441524), which has shown a very high success rate. Unfortunately, the price of this medication is very high and unaffordable for me alone.

Each week of treatment costs approximately €140, and over 12 weeks, the total cost can exceed €5,600. This amount includes:

• Purchase of the antiviral GS-441524 for each week of treatment.
• Regular veterinary check-ups to monitor Sushi’s progress.
• Necessary tests to ensure that the treatment is working correctly.

We are trying to raise €7,000, which would cover the full cost of treatment and allow Sushi to receive the vital care he needs to survive. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us give Sushi another week of life and hope, and we are eternally grateful for all the support we have received.
